- How much do DTF transfers cost?
- Our standard DTF transfers are priced at $0.06 per square inch based on your actual design area. There are no flat fees, no minimums, and no wasted space charges. Specialty transfers start at $0.06/sq in for crystal white, $0.12/sq in for foil, $0.18/sq in for glow-in-the-dark, and $0.49/sq in for fauxbroidery.
- How fast do you ship DTF transfers?
- Most orders are printed and shipped within 24 hours of order placement. VIP Priority members receive guaranteed 24-hour fulfillment for orders placed before 4PM EST on weekdays. Free shipping is available on orders over $100.
- What is a DTF transfer?
- DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are full-color prints made on a special PET film with a heat-activated adhesive. You apply them to a garment using a heat press at 300-325°F for 15-20 seconds. They work on cotton, polyester, nylon, tri-blends, and most fabric types. Results are vibrant, wash-durable, and stretch-resistant.
- Do you have order minimums?
- No minimums at all. You can order a single transfer or hundreds. Our per-square-inch pricing model means you only pay for what you actually need.
- What file formats do you accept?
- We accept PNG (preferred for best results), JPG, SVG, and AI files. PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. Our system auto-detects your design dimensions and calculates the price instantly.
- What fabrics do DTF transfers work on?
- DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, nylon, spandex, tri-blends, canvas, and most fabric types. They do not require white underbase like screen printing, making them ideal for both light and dark garments.
- Are you located on Long Island?
- Yes. Long Island DTF Printing is based on Long Island, NY. We ship nationwide via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Local customers are welcome to reach out about pickup options.
